If you are a teacher, or anyone else (also called a lay rescuer) Heartsaver and/or First Aid CPR AED is probably what you are looking for. ACLS or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is designed for healthcare professionals such as nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physicians assistants, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other advanced level providers who provide advanced level cardiovascular resuscitation to victims of cardiac arrest and/or stroke. PALS or Pediatric Advanced Life Support is designed for healthcare professionals such as nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physicians assistants, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other advanced level providers who provide advanced level cardiovascular resuscitation to pediatric victims of cardiac arrest and other pediatric emergencies.
